At Predator Cycling, we're committed to empowering competitive cyclists with the tools they need to perform at their best, legally and confidently. We're pleased to announce the launch of our Predator Cycling UCI Height Category Stickers, an essential accessory for any rider competing in UCI-sanctioned events or races that adhere to UCI regulations.

These high-quality stickers are more than just decals; they are a clear visual declaration of your pre-verified and registered height category, streamlining the verification process for commissaires and ensuring you’re always compliant on race day.

Understanding the UCI's New Height Categories: Why These Stickers Are Essential

Since 2023, the UCI has formalized three distinct rider height categories, which directly impact the allowable dimensions for time trial handlebars. Understanding these categories is paramount for compliance:

•Category 1: Riders < 180cm tall. For these riders, standard UCI time trial dimensions apply.
•Category 2: Riders between 180.0cm and 189.9cm tall. Riders in this category are eligible for specific extended reach and handlebar height differences.
•Category 3: Riders ≥ 190cm tall. Riders in this category are eligible for further extended reach and handlebar height differences.

The Crucial Mandate: To legally utilize the extended dimensions permitted for Category 2 and Category 3, it is mandatory for riders to have their height officially verified and registered with the UCI. Without this official registration and the corresponding sticker, your bicycle will be measured by the UCI Commissaire under the default measurements as per Article 1.3.023 of the UCI Regulations. The sticker serves as proof of this registration and facilitates quick verification at events.

How to Qualify to Use Your UCI Height Category Sticker

To ensure you can legally use these essential stickers and benefit from the associated dimensional exemptions, follow these critical steps:

•Official Height Measurement & Registration: You must ensure your height is officially measured and registered with the UCI. This vital process typically occurs via your national federation.
•Online Application Form: To legally access and utilize the dimensional exemptions for Categories 2 and 3, you must complete an online application form on the official UCI website. The UCI has even released infographics to help riders understand these rules more easily.
•Affix Your Sticker: Once your rider category is established and your bike is configured to comply, the corresponding UCI Height Category label must be affixed onto your bicycle. These stickers must be applied to the upper side of the top tube area and must remain visible at all times. They also need to be resistant to regular cleaning and unfavorable weather conditions.

Why Choose Predator Cycling UCI Height Category Stickers?

While the UCI makes labels downloadable, Predator Cycling offers a superior, professional solution that ensures durability and compliance:

•Premium Material: Our stickers are crafted from premium, durable, laminated vinyl. This material is designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor conditions, including rain, sun, temperature changes, and even regular cleaning solvents.
•Ultimate Protection: Each sticker features a clear overlaminate that protects against UV fading, scratches, and chemicals, guaranteeing long-term legibility and extending lifespan.
•Professional Appearance: Each sticker is precision cut for a clean, professional look on your high-performance race machine.
•Compliance Pack for Convenience: Our Compliance Pack includes one sticker for each of the three official UCI height categories, providing you with all options. This 3-pack, priced at $8.95, offers a per-sticker value of approximately $2.98, providing a clear advantage over many competitor 2-packs which average around $3.78 per sticker.

Race with confidence knowing you have a professional, compliant solution on your bike. Avoid pre-race stress and be thoroughly prepared for UCI bike checks with this essential detail.
