About the Lab
Simulation to Reality
Predator Cycling® is an engineering firm first, and a custom bicycle manufacturer second. Founded in 2005 by Aram Goganian in Nashville, Tennessee, we have spent two decades pushing the boundaries of composite materials, topology optimization, and generative design.
Predator Lab is the digital extension of our research facility—providing athletes, fitters, and framebuilders with the same physics-as-a-service engines we use to construct race-winning superbikes.
Core Disciplines
Custom Carbon Frames
Bespoke carbon fiber bicycle frames built to the rider's absolute coordinates. Every tube shape, wall thickness, and layup orientation is optimized for weight-to-stiffness ratio before curing.
Simulation & R&D
Utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as our primary tools. We model wind yaw, stress distribution, and aerodynamic drag before laying a single fiber.
Carbon Repair Mastery
Authorized restoration of high-end carbon frames back to factory strength or higher. Over thousands of structural repairs, we have accumulated deep material datasets that inform our own frame design.
Methodology
The 5D Lifecycle
Every component created by Predator Cycling follows our proprietary five-phase delivery pipeline:
Design
Digital design from fit coordinates and parameters.
Develop
FEA/CFD structure analysis & virtual wind tunnel solver.
Data Log
Real-world telemetry log with onboard sensors and fits.
Drive
Ride validation, lab feedback loop, and rider testing.
Deliver
Bespoke production of validated aerospace-grade carbon.
